Hollywood actress Anne Heche in coma since fiery car crash

According to a spokesperson for Anne Heche, the actress from Hollywood was still in critical condition and comatose on Monday, August 8. This four days after she sustained severe injuries in a fiery Los Angeles automobile accident.

Heche, 53, was taken to hospital after her compact car spun out of control in Westside Los Angeles. Although no one was injured, the fire did set the house ablaze and required the intervention of dozens upon dozens of firefighters.

According to a spokesperson for the Los Angeles Police Department, the cause and circumstances of Monday's crash are still under investigation.
